17" wheel order...

It appears that Titax actually will be able to build wheels in a somewhat timely fashion now that the initial products have been made.

I have a customer wanting to order a set, I am working on putting together an order of 5 sets, so the cost of freight from the Czech republic to me is cost efective.

I have an R1 set on order and am adding one set of FTR wheels for a customer...

I realize the price increase stings a little but am willing to help out on that a little if I can get three more people that would like wheels.

Yes, they are more expensive than retrofitting the 22 Carbon wheels, however, they are still significantly lighter than those stock wheels. so still a pretty significant advantage in handling and power delivery.

I still think these are beautiful and if it's possible to get a set without breaking the bank I'm very interested.

as I'm in Australia, do you know whether it will be better for me to order a set direct from Titax or jump in to your deal and then get them shipped from the US?
The shipping cost is what's preventing me from placing an order.

that is a challenge I had 2 customers from Australia on my initial order, pre covid the shipping was manageable, now it is pretty obnoxious. Like close to $300 from me in the US.

Not sure if it would be better to order direct or not.

No worries thanks - appreciate you providing the US shipping price at least, I'll try getting in touch with TItax and see if they can give a direct shipping cost that way I can compare.
I know one of the Aussie guys who ordered them, he has them now and LOVES them.

after seeing your post on FB and the current currency conversion rates - I think it's sadly out of my price range at the moment. Will work out to $5000 AU once shipping is added.

it's a shame cause I love the look of them.

and no that's not your fault and i Know after market wheels are VERY expensive, just sadly not affordable for me at the moment with other expenses.
Maybe next year.

So I have a couple of sets coming and the turnaround on this was much more in line with typical delivery in today's world.

I am becoming more confident in Titax's ability to deliver in a timely fashion.

I am willing to do another group buy for the forum, minimum qty of sets to do this is 5.
