Lately I’ve seen several stories from people who recovered lost and stolen items using these tags. From luggage to motorcycles it seems that these actually work pretty well and aren’t very expensive.
Considering buying some since people like stealing motorcycles and trucks! Especially work vans with all the equipment and tools. Insurance wouldn’t ever give enough to cover all the stock inside them.

Anyone using them or have reasons why it’s a bad idea?

I have them hidden on each of our five bikes.
The problem is that if someone has an iPhone they get notified that an AirTag is following them. But if you hide it we’ll enough it may give you enough time to recover your bike.
