Not making excuses. But they are a very small shop and they make every part in house.

I stopped in at 10pm to pick up a bike with my buddy and the owner was still there running the cnc machines.

but you will be happy when you get it

Right. I am in no way complaining and I 100% understand. Very much looking forward to receiving the system and excited to see and hear it in person.

Well that picture changed my mind. Just sent an email to update to polished headers, but keeping the black can.

So the Toce low Mount was delivered today and I am having a hell of a time installing. Maybe I’m missing something but the front header is about 2” off from the mid pipe. Does everything look right here?

I tried the can on both sides of the bracket as well. It looks better and seems to line up better on the rear of the mount, but still have a pretty big gap between front header and mid pipe.

I’m going to take another look tonight. There’s 2 headers, 2 (what appears to be) mid pipes, the Y pipe then the muffler. I can’t think of another orientation for them to go. I’ll report back once I have another look.

ah my mid pipes arrived already connected with mine. you might have them the wrong way around possibly? give it a double check.

So all springs on the headers and mid pipes, makes sense because they all match up, and this is where the muffler sits, about 6” outside of the bracket. Toce did tell me this is a new updated version of the muffler. But I can’t imagine they would send out a unit that they didn’t test fit

This pipe doesn’t need to be back that far. If you slide it forward to get it more parallel with the front header pipe, it will help with the angle at the bottom.

Thank you guys. I’m embarrassed to say it was the front header not being seated on the studs. One side was on, the other missed the stud. Now it all aligns and matches up. Can’t wait to fire this thing up tomorrow and go for a ride!

After a quick ride this morning I must say I’m pretty happy with this set up. The Toce without the baffle sounds very similar to my previous superduke 1290 which is great though has a little decel popping which I can live with for now. I do have the baffle and can install at some point it that starts to bother me. Dropping a tooth on the front sprocket is perfect for backroads and around town. I didn’t hit the highway yet but don’t see it being any sort of issue. I was cruising at 60 in 5th, assuming 70-75 mph in 6th will be comfortable enough. First gear is a bit short but I don’t expect to spend much time there. Lastly the gsxr shifter linkage mod feels good as well, nice crisp up shifting and no missing gears or hitting neutral from 1-2. It’s still no wheelie monster like the superduke but I can live with it, especially with the electronics and good looks.

Glad you got it squared away. Mine was a big pain in the ass and that's because of a slightly different setup and I had everything Cerakoted before putting together. WD40 was my friend (and a small mallet).
