Where did you ride your FTR today?

my hubby's brother is down from QLD for a few days and as he also rides, we were able to get out today for a good 160kms today together. He took my Honda, my hubby and I on our FTR's. Lots of traffic out so wasn't a quick ride, but was good to stretch the legs and enjoy the day together.
Stopped in Meadows for a coffee and Cornish Pasty before heading on to Strathalbyn then coming home via Sterling and Crafers.

my better half would be in heaven. he does artistic blacksmithing as a hobby.
It's wonderful that in an age of AutoCAD, 3d printing and mass production some craftsmen are still keeping the forges lit and designing and fabricating items by hand, be that in small businesses or, like Tony, for pleasure. Hats off to him.

The UK has a tremendous ironwork heritage and hand forged work is a way of working that produces textures and forms which are unique to the individual piece and distinct from machine made products.

Rode over to the local motorcycle hang out.
I chuckled as, once again, the adventure bikes and cruisers were split by the FTR in the middle.

Rode through some mountain towns and stopped to dry off after a downpour--- stumbled into a gaggle of antique Nortons also drying off.
