I also had spare indicator wire with the connectors as I wanted to use the original connectors. I connected the new indicators. No cutting wires/no soldering. I have ordered some resistors and at the weekend I will wire them up. I will take a photo and post it here of the wiring.

What kind of resistor? do you wire it parallel? My new indicators do the same once the engine is turned of and they glow (low) when engine is on.

Mine does too. I fitted the new Tank Machine rear indicators and they glow once the ignition is turned of. I have timed it and it last about 2:10 min. Any one know why??

I think the safety factor on this coolant failure issue is that in some cases (most of them) , the coolant has leaked on to the rear wheel causing the tyre to loose traction.

Just contacted my dealer and they said that the part is on back order with no delivery date. They have my details as I bought the bike from them. Now the waiting game. I rode the bike hard though the hard summer with the fan coming on in taffic and there wasnt any leaks. So hope it will hold...

i just got a letter to book my bike in to get the pipe replaced!!! they are replacing it but the pipe could be on back order i will call the dealer tomorrow
