The MT10, descended from the R1 which has a pretty stellar international racing pedigree. I like my FTR too but let's not go crazy here. On par with the 916?!
I had a lightweight chain and sprocket conversion on my track SV because there wasn't a ton of power. On the street I err on the side of making it home.
I looked at a used Toce last week but the guy told me how loud it was and I decided to pass, even though I hate the stocker. I leave for work early and I don't want to be that guy.
Does the 100% have the aftermarket levers to match the rear-sets? I'd get those, the difference between the J.Juan and Brembo levers is irritating my OCD.
And welcome, by the way!
I went to the CCM site and built a couple dreams. They are lovely, I wish other manufacturers did it this way.
I'm thinking one of these would be the perfect retirement gift to myself in a couple years...
This is interesting.
For comparison: I also have a newer Africa Twin (Honda) and they have problems with the display going wonky too. Honda recently increased the warranty replacement to 10 years for '20+ AT's.
I'm not saying Honda is better or always gets it right, but they got it right in this...
I ordered the gixxer arm today, hoping that helps with the major 1-2 clunk I'm experiencing (even after a fresh oil change). I think 15w60 is the heaviest oil I've ever used!
Speaking of oil, I used the Indian kit but will be looking at other stuff next change. Can someone link me an oil thread? :p
