    Trouble with gauges/screen

My screen started with time to time problems that got worse as time went on. In the end, the dealer installed a completely new unit. No problems since then.

    Gauge display problems have returned

It’s frustrating because when it is working, it is the nicest (display/control system) on a bike I’ve ever seen. The interface with my Sena K30 and my phone is perfect and the screen controls work with gloves on And the bar controls are exhalent too.

    Gauge display problems have returned

About a month and a half ago I posted that I was having an intermittent problem with my gauge display. It would be fine most of the time but every once in a while my gauges would go dead. It seemed to fix itself for a while but now it is back and worse than before. Here is a short video of what...

Got my new seat from Saddlemen

This seat is a big improvement over the stock seat. It is easier to move around on when you want to hang off a bit and the padding seams more comfortable. The open space does take some pressure off my Coccyx. This is of importance for me due to a nasty get-off almost 20 years ago. I especially...

Do you have any other bikes?

Wow! honestly, I have never heard of one before. I googled it and it came up with Benelli as the company name. Is that the same as the fire arms company? It looks fantastic. I dated a girl who had an MV Brutalli that look a lot like it. Really, very nice.

Got my new seat from Saddlemen

I haven't had a chance to take a real ride with it yet, so I can't give much of a review but I like the way it looks.

    New rider from Sweden!

Welcome! its funny you ask that question. I think I saw a fuse in the fuse box on my FTR that says "Heated Grips". That usually means that the bike is already wired for heated grips. I have looked every ware on line an heard no mentioned heated grips as an option. Maybe thy just left a spot...

Alternative tires.... Conti Road Attack 3

For general riding I stick with stock pressure 36 front, 40 rear. If I’m going early with group that are going to cut it up I’ll go 35 front, 36 rear

    Apple car play

I use and Android so I don't really have a dog in this fight. I will tell you that the FTR s screen works better with my phone and headset than any bike I've ever ridden. I have a 2018 Goldwing and It is no-ware near as good at interfacing with my stuff.

    Trouble with gauges/screen

Hi, I think the translation from French to English is confusing me . Are you saying you have had a simaler problem and it was diagnosed as a problem with 3 different sensor at three different times?

    Trouble with gauges/screen

I haven't looked for any loose wires yet. I'll give it a close once over before the weekend comes. I hope it's something that simple. I had is somewhat similar experience with my super Duke last year and it turned out to be a bed gauge cluster. That unit was about $1100 . Thanks for...

    Trouble with gauges/screen

I had a funny thing happen on Sunday. I was riding home, I had about 1/3 of a tank of gas left when all of the sudden the low fuel light came on and the gauges stopped indicating. MPR read 0, RPM read 0 fuel read 0. Then suddenly it starting working again, then suddenly it did the same thing...

    Temperature radiation from rear cylinder

I have put about 1,800 miles on my FTR. The weather here in lower New York has been in the mid 90’s most of the summer and yes, there is a good bit of heat coming up from the right side of the bike while stopped at lights. I did eliminate the CAT and flashed the ECU and that reduced the heat...

    Owners Manual.

I agree that the FTR owner’s manual is excellent. I found the suspension section really great. Most manufactures offer suggested settings for different riding styles (around town to aggressive or track) settings but few offer preload suggestions. I tip the scales at about 250Lbs so most Euro and...
