That's not a good situation. What is actually wrong with the part you have, is it cracked? Are you able to get someone to plastic weld it back together? I've done repairs to plastic using stainless steel mesh and a soldering iron before, that method may help? Plenty to see on Youtube if you search.

I run Avon Spirit ST's on my 19 with the 160 tyre, no issues for fitting and really good in the wet.

Mine came with the DB killer fitted, I had to remove the 3 screws from the end cap and tap it off to access the db killer so that I could remove it.
