Question for those who have done this conversion. I put a set of 17s on my 19 FTR and purchased the 2022 sidestand (just the stand) with the part number: 1025611-458. The cut at the top is different than my 2019's which allows for it to travel too far forward towards the front of the bike when...
Got my 17s mounted with some Galfer wave rotors. Shaved 16 lbs from the bike. Running a 180 width Bridgestone S22 and the bike feels transformed. Handling is so much more flickable. I've fallen in love all over again with it. It's a proper hooligan now. Indian kind of killed the bike with the...
Brett's been great through all of this, I really do appreciate him sticking this out for us. The price increases suck but like he said it's everywhere. I manufacture rifles and the raw material costs for our aluminum and titanium have increased quite a bit over the last 2 years. I'll post pics...
Believe it or not the wheels are finally stateside and Brett from Ten Racing shipped them out to us all yesterday. Fedex tracking shows delivery this Thursday for mine.
Supposedly they went to a logistics company two weeks ago, but no tracking has been provided so that tells me that Lumir hasn't done shit. I'd rather him just say he can't ship yet instead of continually lying saying that they they are shipping.
That's interesting. I feel like my 701 Vit is one of the most confidence inspiring bikes I own. Partially what drove the decision to move to the S22s on the Monster and FTR, also the fact they are the OEM for the new gen 3 1290 SD R
They look really good. I have 180/65-17 R S22 Battle Ax's waiting to go on. My DT3s are almost bald and I refuse to buy new tires for my OEMs so I'm getting impatient for my Titax wheels.. All the US orders are coming in for Ten Racing, so no one in the states has them yet. I run the S22s on my...
Now word is August 10th to ship. Apparently Lumir is not familiar with the concept of underestimate, over achieve. He should have said ship date in 2022 so he'd look like a hero for shipping in 2021 vs looking like a lying scoundrel by continually overestimating, under achieving.

Yup exactly and I also will do the wheels loaded minus tires as well to see the savings of just the wheels. I have a set of Bridgestone S22s with a 180/60-17 Rear waiting to go on. Diameter is only a little smaller than stock.
Don't forget to send me your 17" front fender drop bracket...
