Checking Coolant Level

I just purchased a 2019 FTR. I am trying to check the coolant level in the sight window, but do not see anything at all in the window. The bike seems to run fine. Does anyone else have this problem, or could the coolant level actually be so low as to not be visible in the window?

Shine a flashlight up from underneath and it will make the level more visible in the sight window. Or it’s not too difficult to remove the cover and expose the tank which you will have to do anyways to fill it.
