The track conditions were what i consider poor for this level of competition but we have been extremely dry here. A nasty hole on the entry to 3 unsettled many riders. Its been a while since ive been to Flat Track Race but i was struck by how few racers and fans were in attendance. The AMA must still be catering exclusively to factory teams to crush privateer racing efforts Events this size used to have 130 racers and full grandstands. They did water the track before the mains and did what they could to the track. The semis went off pretty well but a massive off on the backstretch caused the worst red flag of the night in the singles class with a rider cartwheeling off his bike several times afrer brutally hitting another downed bike. The night went painfully slow for me as they spent a solid 15 min working on the track after the simplest lowside. The Super Twins were supposed to light off at 21:30 but it was 23:00 before green if you’re a fan then the smell of rubber n race fuel and that grit all over you from flying dirt is the biz 050FD7EC-1675-496C-BCBC-137529CC47D5.jpeg38C6F9E1-966D-4A3F-9DB8-EA18682A68AA.jpeg
