When I first tried to do it with the plunger attached, I thought "This is impossible! #$@*!" Glad my experience could help someone else.

Mine works, but it is a pain to fiddle with it on every fill up. I would but a non-locking one in a minute, if one was available.

I would be happy if I could just find a keyless gas cap to replace the fiddly stock one!

I pulled the plunger out of it's holder, put it on the lever peg, and then held the lever while I snapped it back in it's perch. Took 2 minutes.

If it was just "runs poorly when cold", I would have been OK with that. Mine stalled 2 or 3 three times on every cold start - unacceptable!

I'm in the USA and bought a new 2019 FTR S this spring. It had the AH2 update already installed. It stalled several times on every cold start and ran like crap until it warmed up. I added a S&S slip on exhaust, cat delete pipe, and a FuelMoto/PV3 tune. It now starts right up and runs great...

I am using the PV3 w/FM tune and decat/slip on. I had flame outs when I pulled the clutch in on my first two rides. Many rides since then (over 1,000 miles) no issues.

Super exciting race. The gang that pulled off late for rain tires kinda got screwed. I guess you make your decisions and live with them!

I am in the USA and have also put an Fuel Moto tune on my AH2 ECU. It is running great. I did need to update the firmware on my PV3, maybe the people having trouble just need to update the PV3 firmware?

I have thrown quite a few almost new stock mufflers in the garbage. My recently removed stock cat and Akro muffler are now sitting in a lonely corner of the garage.:(

I agree, watching the Moto GP guys run through the corkscrew at Laguna Seca was one of the most iconic images in motorcycle racing.
