So because i was bored and bike bling, i figured i would experiment with some ez pull clutch levers.

to fit any perch you have to cut off and remove the oem adjuster on the clutch cable. For some reason Indian decided to use an adjuster without a slot in it

First was the Elite perch that rob1wheel revolution is using ( he doesnt have the handlebar switches hooked up). even after filing down the lever i couldnt get 100% clutch disengagement.

Second try, I used a 1fnger. That jimmy burnouts is using ( but he cut his switch housing) Clutch pull was even lighter, but it also didn’t clear enough to fully disengage.

in the end, new oem clutch cable installed and stock perch back on.

I hope that one of these two manufactures releases a perch and lever that is a drop-in replacement for the FTR. The Elite Mototech perch and lever I had on my Dyna was a significant improvement over stock. Thank you for attempting to make these work and letting us know that they don't.

i contacted both companies, neither seemed to have interest in making a harley style lever that would clear the switches for the sport bike perch.

And 1fnger was actually the nicer of the two, the adjuster was much nicer, and it came with two holes for your cable end, with two different amounts of pull force.

OEM clutch cable is $92 for those interested lol
