Failed front wheel speed sensor...

...has some really weird symptoms. Front brake became temporarily inoperative. Then the throttle became intermittently unresponsive. Make no sense. Can some one help me understand this?

What year bike? '22 and on the wheel speed sensor is in the hub as opposed to a tone ring on the wheel itself.

Odd, even with a failing abs (or complete shut down of the bike), the brakes should always work.

That all sounds like a low voltage issue.
