I've always liked the FTR, but when I was looking at getting my first street bike( had ridden and raced dirt bikes prior ) I couldn't justify spending that much money on a new one, so had ended up with a Harley Davidson 750 street. That was a few years ago, and by happen chance, I found a 2019 with 10k miles on it for a decent deal today. So ended up trading the Harley in, and rode the FTR on home. I'm already loving it. It did come slightly modified with a S&S exhaust on it, and different airbox design colors. But seems stock as far as I can tell.
