What didn't you buy because you bought the FTR instead?
I was close to getting a new Rocket 3 but then the price went up...

I was looking at some Yamaha ‘s. Tracer, mt09 and I really liked the XSR900. But they wouldn’t give me anything on my trade and Indian gave me more than I was expecting on trade. Also the FTR was marked down and they gave me $1000 in accessories. And then I got another 750 in referral money on top of that. Oh and the grin I had on my face the entire test drive of the FTR. When I got back I said what the hell you only live once. I didn’t want to spend this much on a motorcycle with the long winters here but did it anyways.

I test rode one while I was waiting for the FTR to be released, glad I didn't too. Although at that price I'd prefer 2500 cc's of Rocket 3.

Super duke or the mt10. Both better performers. Both ugly as sin and didn’t have a soul.
