Where did you ride your FTR today?

3900 mile loop from SoCal up the eastern side of California, Oregon and Washington. West across the Northern Cascades to the Olympic Peninsula. Then back down to SoCal mostly along the Pacific Coast. Bikes even saw some dirt over the unpaved Baby Shoe pass in Oregon. Never missed a beat.
I just rode home to the west coast from Sturgis, SD (trailered the bike there with a friend). If I ever do another long trip I'm copying your gear layout - especially the wind screen. Bike did fine but on those "rare" <cough> occasions where my speed got over 90 or 100 mph the wind was a little grueling. Especially on the home stretch through the Columbia River Gorge where I was literally leaning to the left for a huge chunk of the ride.

I finally rode the Lochsa road aka. Hwy 12 over the last couple days. Lots of big sweeping curves. lots and lots of bikers and for a weekend the traffic wasn't bad, Rode from Lolo MT to Lewiston ID and back about 6-700ish miles total. A little shorter than normal, but I dumped a pile of time and money into my house this year. About 45 miles in the Lochsa Lodge has fuel, nice for the FTR's fairly short range. Continued on the next 99 miles and overnighted in Kooskia at the River Junction RV Park. It's little rustic but was inexpensive and has a friendly staff. Went to supper at the Silver Dollar Pizzeria & Pub a couple miles south of Kooskia, good service and excellent pizza. Stopped in at Hellsgate Indian and got a T-shirt. On the way back I stopped at the Lolo Distillery and the place was packed. So, I just went for a bottle of their Montana whiskey instead There's an English Youtuber "The Missenden Flyer" that rode the Lochsa last summer he does very nice professional riding videos for anyone wanting some pre-ride intel. Also www.motorcycleroads.com has a downloadable Lolo Pass .gpx file of the ride.

Last month I popped out last month to the Boyds of Bedford bike meet at Brew Point Brewery in Bedford. Just out of interest, it's got a great address, it's on "Cut Throat Lane" It's their last meet up of the year this coming Wednesday evening.

Like the Chev´ with it and even the 3` Shadow Series in the background .;)

What a congregation, cool! I've seen two more live here in Sweden so far, but not close enough to "mate up".

By the way, freezing here today, might not ride anywhere at all for 4-5 months...
