I’ve not seen a dyno of just a cat delete that didn’t basically lose a lot of midrange and maybe add a few hp at the peak.
Really?

Yes. Most people seem to agree that getting rid of the cat alone is more harmful than helpful for this motorcycle.
System seems to be pretty well designed as is and just removing what we tend to think of as a big restriction doesn’t seem to help that mid range tq.

I’ve not personally dynoed bikes with both set ups but have seen graphs showing that loss.

Some others in this thread have hands on experience with it. FWIW

If there is no change in the fuel mapping does it really make any extra hp?
I’ve not seen a dyno of just a cat delete that didn’t basically lose a lot of midrange and maybe add a few hp at the peak. If that’s the case I personally wouldn’t bother spending the money there vs a Toce setup.
So the Toce header replaces the cat and doesn't lose mid-range without a tune? Just looking for apples to apples here...
It certainly looks like Toce has put a lot more work into the FTR than Akrapovic. The fact that Akra has yet to make a new header for the 17" bikes speaks for itself.
