    Gas cap

When I bought my 19, it came with a separate key for the gas cap. There's probably a story there that I will never know. Anyway, does anyone make a threaded cap that doesn't require a key?

Almost a thousand miles since february.

I travel for a living so I don't have the opportunities to ride as much as I would like to. I absolutely love the ftr. I did a 200 mi one-way trip to the airport with my tools and luggage, and it did great. It's the best two-up bike I've had in a long time because it's relatively narrow when I...

Debating on getting a programmer versus sending out my ecu.

I was thinking about ordering a programmer for my ftr. It's pretty much plug and play and it could be waiting for me when I got home from this work trip. I'm a little nervous about sending the ECU anywhere because without it the bike becomes a brick. I'm not looking so much for performance games...

    Finally rode it a bit.

I got to put about 50 miles on my '19 last night. It definitely surges between two and three thousand rpms. At some point soon, I will send the ECU out and get it flashed. In the meantime, it's absolutely okay. I really enjoy riding the simple back to basics bike. I can't find my helmet with the...

My gas cap will not open

Drove it to the gas station, expecting to do the obvious. I got there put the key in, and it would not turn. I got home and hit it with wd-40, and no luck. Anybody have any suggestions before I start crying

    Finally rode it!!!

I finally got my 2019 out for a spin, did about 20 miles and I absolutely love the thing. It's a little strange to ride, it vibrates, and seems to make me giggle. Plenty of power anywhere I need it, if you keep it under 4,000 RPMs it's very smooth, and sport mode seems to make your IQ go down

Do most folks replace the stock mirrors?

Was wondering if a lot of people went to bar and mirrors, or if you could make the stock once work okay.

How much do you really gain by deleting the cat, etc?

Was wondering how much performance gains you get by deleting the cat and removing the baffles from the exhaust. I'm not looking to squeeze every erg of power I can out of the bike, but I'm always interested to see how it works.

    Jonesing

I haven't been home to pick up the bike since I put it down payment on it, I am laying here in bed looking at Google maps to potentially plan rides. I either need a life or I need my bike, I can't decide which. The dealer is about 3 hours from the house, so at least I'll be able to get to know...

    Wondering about handling and fueling

I've been doing a ton of research since the only time I've actually seen the bike was when I put it down payment on it, and it was raining that day so I didn't ride it. The only two consistent complaints about the bike are how the stock tires handle on the pre-2021s, and the fueling. For the...

    About to jump in.

I put a down payment on a 2019 FTR race replica Saturday. Hoping to pick it up after Christmas. I started my big bike career on naked bikes, went to sport tourers, and I wanted something different. Back to basics I guess?
