Tony & I went out for his maiden voyage on his new FTR1200S on the weekend.
He's still getting used to having a bike that corners well (much better than the HD) but he's loving it.

Saturday, not today - 215 miles RT on Route 66 in Oklahoma hills. Lovely ride. Lots of red tailed hawks and a great country breakfast.

Mine stayed home, took my hubby's out for a 125km ride through the hills to help get it closer to it's first service.

Yesterday we got out and put another 200kms on Tony's FTR so he's just popped over the 800km mark and is ready for his first service.
Didn't take any photos sorry.
After installing the Sato bar inner weights he is over the moon, recons it's an 80% improvement on vibration in the bars and he didn't feel sore at the end of it.

2100 mile loop from SE Arizona to the Big Bend area of Texas and then into Mexico to ride down into Copper Canyon and then through the Sierra Madre mountains of Northern Mexico. The FTRs make great touring bikes!

Took my bike out for the first time since October last year... 19 model... Under 2k miles and still rockin' the original battery. I had forgotten how good this bike is... Fell in love all over again.
